Im going to be needing a rear spoiler and been checkin on ebay and searchin google. most of the spoilers i come across are abs. the rear spoiler snapped off durring a storm and it looked fiberglass to me. This guy claims that factory was abs so much its underlined any input and where can i get my hands on a good used oem spoiler
Not sure on getting an original one, just keep an eye on ebay.

Personally I found a really good reproduction here

The guys name is Bo. You wouldn't believe this place, its a freaking museum of Mustang parts, I could have spent days looking around this place. The guy is a little hard to understand but he definitely knows Mustang parts. I spent over 2000.00 when I went there from Arizona.

I cant guarantee this guy can help but I promise you its not a waste calling him. He wont remember who I am so using me for a reference is useless.

Good luck and let me know how it works out. Ill get a photo of my spoiler today and post it so you can see what mine looks like. Im extremely happy with mine with fit and finish.
Id be interested in seeing the pics. Any idea where it was manufacture US or overseas? Also is it plastic or fiberglass? Mainly Im concerned about aliment issues and sagging. Ive seen crap plastic ones that have a bow in them.
Sorry bro, I forgot to follow up on this one. Ill get photos today I promise!

Mine doesn't seem to be plastic at all in fact when I had one of the local mustang shops install it for me they said it was a high quality one and it is heavy and asked me where I bought it. So I'm assuming it is fiberglass. It also included the swivel pedestals, and after nearly a year being installed no sag at all.

Sorry to be so unclear but this was the first part I bought without giving it any research or thought when getting it. It just kind of happened when I was in California from Arizona getting some suspension work done.

The guy I mentioned above (BO) said it was the best part I could get.

Look for photos later today.
Ok got the pictures for you. Hope this helps you!
As I mentioned I put this on in October of last year. Not saying it wont in the future but its surviving 115 degree temps in Arizona and is still straight as an arrow.

I got mine from CJ Pony parts and so far no problems.
Question,

How difficult was the install? I just ordered a front and rear spoiler from calmustangs and would like to do a DIY job on it rather than pay some guy $300 for something I could do myself.

Hi I am new to this club but brought a front and back spoiler for my 73 and fitting was pretty straight forward as long as you get the measurements on the trunk lid the same for both sides and use the rubber gaskets as a guide for the holes . I would recommend you put masking tape on trunk lid where holes are to marked and drilled. Front one its easier with two people but pretty straight forward.
The rear spoiler is fiberglass . My car sat so long the paint has fallen off years ago . C . L . SSig_goodluck
if you need hole locations for the rear spoiler id be more than happy to get them to u "ok id be willing to get them to u lol" mine was factory installed
