Hill climbs are great events to watch, since you’re guaranteed to see a mixture of bravery, stupidity, mad skills and carnage. The concept is pretty simple: take a motocross bike, lengthen the wheelbase by adding a huge swingarm, add copious amounts of horsepower and then find the steepest dirt hillside you can. Generally, hill climbs aren’t held on vertical cliffs that require course workers to be roped up. Launching yourself backwards at the top, facing a thirty-foot fall isn’t real habit-forming either, especially when your still-running bike takes the same fall line you do.
I have no idea where this event was held, but it’s the most extreme (and insane) hill climb I’ve ever seen. Enjoy it from the comfort and safety of your home or office, because I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near the actual course.
