Just when you thought the performance levels of automobiles couldn’t get any better, someone comes along and rewrites the rules. We all know that Porsche is one of the most respected sports car manufactures in world and the new 911 GT2 RS is one of the reasons why. Apparently the Germans thought that their current 911 GT2 making 530 hp just wasn’t enough, so they decided to up the ante with the announcement of their new Nurburgring killer, the new Porsche 911 GT2
RS. Putting out 620 hp, the GT2 RS is the most powerful and fastest road car that Porsche has ever made.

Powered by a 3.6 liter six cylinder boxer engine, it boasts twin turbochargers, a six-speed manual gearbox and rear wheel drive. 60 mph comes up in a mere 3.5 seconds. Keep your foot matted to the floor and you’ll be rewarded with a top speed of just over 205 mph – this is one FAST automobile. The new GT2 RS has also been said to have lapped the Nurburgring in seven minutes, 18 seconds. Production wise the car will be limited to just 500 units, with the first ones hitting the U.S. this October. At $320,000, the new GT2 RS is quite expensive, but for those seeking the best of the best, that amount of money is a small price to pay for automotive
excellence.
