JTS,

How weird is that!  I am glad to hear the she was able to get back in the room.

Anyway, nice parts car.  How much of this car will you be using on the Jacobra?  I know you mentioned  you needed an electrical system.

Everything under the dash will be used as well as the wiring both under the dash and out under the hood. The front seat are in good usable condition. The dash wood grain is much better and only needs some sanding and revarnishing. Then it will be lots of little stuff.

Ps Yeah if she hadn't been able to get back, in I was fixing to open the door, and give her my coat at least.

Interesting, so all the wood grain trim on the dash and doors is actually wood not plastic. Do they still reproduce those trim pieces in wood?

Yes the wood is all a laminated plywood with a nice veneer on top which is sanded and layered thickly with varnish. Once sanded. I will coat it with several coats of "Marine" Varnish, which will withstand many years of abuse. I did a solid core door for a house once. Put 4 coats of Marine Varnish and steel wooled it between each coat. It came out like glass, and it lasted for over 20 years, and still had a shine on it. Tough stuff!

Ps after raising 4 boys, 1 girl and all the daughter in laws, etc. I've seen several little girls naked. When shit like that happens the best you can do is, offer your help. Whatever that may be.
