Ps I'd leave the hood pins. As the "look" you're going for would of definitely had hood pins.

Hey JTS, The guy wanted $400 and I got it for $375.  I also confirmed that the domes do house the turn signals, pretty cool. They actually sell the wire harness for $42 but the plastic lenses is where it gets expensive, if you can find them.

However, after a search I found the same information JTS came across.  Basically every hood with some kind of bulge was categorized as a power dome hood.  Even a simple cowl induction hood or the hood used on many Dodge Challengers.  I thought you were originally referring to the rare hood with the tear drop shaped bulge that came on a few Galaxie 500's with big block motors.


Even the new Jeep's today offer a power dome hood. I do like it better than the fiberglass hood I have but right now no intentions of selling it.  I may just paint both hoods and change them up periodically.
