Drastic change like I did ... big trucks to a Mustang.

I bet it hurt to fill those up with gas in London too!

That was the same for me. My Mach was actually given to me by mother. It was her car, it needed some work. She was divorced and couldnt afford to do the work or have someone do. She knew that I loved the car, so she gave it to me a couple of years ago.

That's great you were able to keep it in the family. I bet your mother is glad you are preserving it! Do you let her drive it!.

She knows that she can drive it anytime. Many times when she goes out with me in the car, I offer for her to drive but she declines and just enjoys the ride.

I really wish she would drive it more... I would like for her to enjoy driving it as much as I do.

I don't believe in selling cars, so I sold my soul to get mine.

I gave up my Armalite AR-50 50BMG rifle with scope and all the reloading stuff I had. I had gone with a friend to drop off cars for an auction and seen her sitting there all alone. I had to have her. The guy who had her before has had her in storage for the last 12yrs. Him and his wife had separated and he needed money. So I gave my friend the gun and he gave the guy cash. So the rest is history she will be mine til I become one with the ground.

Hi
here my 74 firebird formula 400 I had to sell to buy my mach 1. I owned it for almost 17 years many memories it was an hard decision!!but since I saw a brand new mach 1 back in 1972 I knew I will have one a day or another...
The pontiac now belongs to a friend of mine so...not that bad!!
these firebird are great cars.. very nice to drive but there's something special with these 71 73 mach's.. something you can't get with anything else...nothing can beat the ford sportsroof/quarter window design form the early 70's!!

I'm not a gun enthusiast and not familiar with their values, but it sounds like a good trade for you.

At least you get to visit the Formula since your friend has it. I have always like the Formula Firebirds and those Honeycomb wheels. I haven't seen a Forumla in person in a long time but the Trans Ams keep showing up.

Sweet Formula! I'm really partial to the Firebirds, before the Mustang bug hit me I was a devoted Firebird Trans Am freak.
