So I thought that I might update this old thread as I am now currently back visiting Australia!

We arrived yesterday and are currently in the Sydney area.  We will be headed on to Canberra in a few minutes.

While we are here we will also be visiting New Zealand, Brisbane, the Perth area, Tasmania and hopefully be able to take in a bit of the Targa Tasmania and then return to Sydney before heading home.

Anyone on this side keen to meet up?  The plans are already in the making to catch up with Steve O.

I have mailed Steven on this site and would be delighted to catch up with him.   The daughter's Mach ! got registered (at last) a week ago.  I look a thousand years younger behind the wheel!!

If anyone could assist Steven in reading the mail to him that would be great!!  Wink

So I have been able to touch base with Steve O via phone and am looking forward to catching up with him next week!

I have just contacted M1FF on P/M and we now have each others mobile numbers and should hopefully catch up when I am in the Perth area in two weeks!

We enjoyed our first week in Australia with a day in the Sydney area and then a week in Canberra.

We arrived in Christchurch, New Zealand this past Friday and enjoyed our weekend there.

Currently we are traveling south down the east coast of the South Island, will plan to catch up with some friends of twenty-nine years ago in the southern part of the Island before heading north up the west side.

I have not found any Mach 1's but we did come across a very nice 1966 Mustang on the side of the road "For Sale" in Ashburton.  Only $45,000.

Hi Steven,

Sounds like a great itinerary so far!  Either you accidently added a zero to that 66 Mustang or you found a super nice K-code!

Safe travels!
