I'm not pushing the vendor and he is in Hawaii but the example of the video shows what dynomat does.

Interesting and convincing demonstrating! The next time I pull my seats and carpet out I may do the Dynmat.

I used a product called peel n seal it comes in a 36 x 33.5 in roll and does the same thing as dynamat. It cost me $91.00 and you can buy it and most lumber and hardware stores like the home depot. Also I was worried about the smell... NONE. And it sticks to anything, just food for thought.

There are some other brands out there and they all do basically the same thing. Ive even used some stuff called Road Kill and it works exactly like the Dynomat even a little cheaper, a lot cheaper actually. Once they put Chips Fooses picture on the Dynomat box the prices nearly doubled.

Unfortunetly this world has gotten to be all about the all mighty buck. Not so much what is something worth but how much can we get the dummies to pay! Sad JTS 71 Mach1 (PS) Glad to know ther is another choice out there. Thanks

I wanted to post a photo of the product I'm using so everyone can see what it looks like installed. I haven't finished the whole car yet but here's what I have. Also It helps to have some help when and if you install it under the headliner as it is a pain in the back to install alone.

I have been planning to dynamat the interior when I begin the interior restoration and have been trying to find out: Can you install the carpet directly on the dynamat or do you still need to put an underlayment? what is everyone's opinions on this? thanks Big Grin

Eastwood , also has a product that I used in my car. Less money than Dynomat . Looking at it , I think it's made by Dynomat but far less money.
I have heard of the peel and seal stuff , some good , some bad.
