Dealer Trying to Back Out on High Bidder for 2009 SRT8 Challenger

Not Mustang related, but I saw this link on another Mustang site. Apparently the high bid on eBay for a new 2009 SRT8 Challenger was $29.5 with no reserve. But the dealer is apparently loosing money so he is trying to back out. The thread on the Challenger site is going viral! Over 74,000 views and over 14 pages of threads in 3 days! The dealer shoud suck it up and live up to the contract!

I read a lot of the posts and the majority of the posters are on the buyers side.

I did read all of the buyer's posts in the thread; I hope he continues pursuing the issue.

Amazing how fast certian things travel through the internet/email :)

Looking forward to hearing what happens.....

Kinda guessing the dealer has no choice but to offer the price cause if they don't I imagine they will get flooded with phone calls and who knows what could happen to their dealership.

Mistakes happen, no one is perfect...but where do you draw the line.....no reserve is no reserve.....although it wasn't said in the ad and most case's it is.

Oh well......even at that price I still couldnt afford it :)

This controversy continues to spread on the Internet. If you Google "Challenger sold for" it's amazing how many websites have picked up the story.

The original thread at ChallengerTalk.com has over 1,000 posts and almost 264,000 views. The first post was on March 13th, so that's a lot of attention. No word on any resolution yet!
