I guess if you are looking at things from a monetary standpoint then no, dont get it unless your gonna part it out. If your gonna buy this car because you actually want it, then thats different. Who cares if its a money pitt if thats the car you want? My car was $3000 when I got it, and the body and interior were way worse (it did run). 7 years later and about $15k+ later I'm still workin at it. I guess thats ok for me though since I don't plan on selling the car ever. If you eventually are gonna sell it I guess things are a little different.

It does look like a lot of work, but it may be worth it for a long term project if you want to fix it up. It's always nice to keep another Mach on the road! Like you said, you can tell more once you see how much rust there is.
