Interesting summary in the article:

"The Car
OK, we've outlined the car, given the goods on the whys and what fors, and shown you all its sex appeal. But the power hounds want to know this and this alone: Is the New Mach a match for the old? The one word answer is, yes. In fact, the new car outstrips its ol' granddad in all aspects. One could only expect this after 34 years of development. But even so, it obliterates the 428SCJ for straight-line speed and definitely smacks the old man when it comes to handling."

I like old so Id have to go with the old Mach 1. They are just sexier, and more nostalgic.

I like the old Mach's too, but it's nice to have a modern one for trips and as a fall-back daily driver.

03/04 Mach's have so much to offer. As much as it nice to have great brakes, wide tires, great steering, cumfy interior..........its a great feeling to get behind the wheel of a classic.

My son who drives the 01 Bullitt, has driven my 04 Mach 1, and the 73 Mustang vert can't get over the difference in the handling, especially how many turns the steering takes on the 73! But he still likes driving it.

Got to love the new and the old. Great American muscle cars.
69-70 Mach 1's have the sexest lines of any American muscle cars.
I think that 40 years from now people will be saying the same about the 03-04 Mach 1's. Heck, I hear that now about my 03.
Best part is that Chevy and Mopar are always tring to catch up with both, looks and power and just fall short.Winner

Unfounded rumors suggest Ford will be offering a Mach 1 option for 2011 or 2012. Makes sense, considering they could bump up the hp with the 5.0 to around 450hp and compete (or exceed) in comparison to the Camaro SS or Challenger SRT. Would it be enough to trade my '04 Azure Blue for? Doubt it.
