SO - we name every car we have ever had in our family - interested to know how many Mach 1 members have a nickname for their Mach 1?
I haven't got one yet for mine - only had him a week and UK weather has done the usual thing for June- 2 days hot 3 days torrential rain and wind to make sure the
cricket got cancelled today etc - so have been in my Ford Ranger most of the week (he is called "Reggie" by the way)
I had a hellcat - he was Dante - of course
MY Daughter has a huge Wrangler jeep black edition (called Hobbs - fast & furious etc)
Youngest Son's Suzuki is Wiley (as in Coyote)
you get the picture - it maybe mad cow related but thats us

Great nicknames! We just refer to our 2004 Mach 1 as "The Mach 1" or just "The Mach". Our 73 Mustang Convertible is just referred to as "The 73".
We had a Tahoe with female voice navigatio, who after steering us wrong a few times, earned the name of "Hoe"!

My 71 Mach1 with 500+hp was called "Nightmare"! Cause it she the Chevy Boys Nightmares!!!
My 94 F150 With a 300 six and 5 speed. Is called "Trigger" cause she's a Hoss.
71 Maverick was "Sneaky". 351W shoved between the shock towers, full duals, and traction bars.
67 Ranchero was Hoss. 71" 400 shoved between the shock towers.
I've had nicknames for several through the years seeing's as I've had near 100 cars, of which about 75+ ran and drove, oh and lots of parts cars! It's been an interesting 50 years since I started driving at 13.
Most of the ones that had nick names earned them for one reason or another.

Mine was first called "The Rustang" by everybody until after I got it home from the paint shop, then my wife said I couldn't call it that anymore since all the rust was gone. I asked what she suggested, and she said, "Frankenstang - because I brought it back from the dead, there are still a few scars (welds) showing from when I put him back together, and I used pieces and parts from several different cars to do so." Wow... OK, can't argue with that logic.
My wife has a real gift when it comes to naming things (with her logic). Her 2015 Camaro is named, "Carmen" (an Italian play on red and it's pretty close to Camaro). My 2012 Ram is named, "Clifford" (The Big Red Dodge, of course). My buddy's [new] Jeep project is called, "Klooge" (that was his screen name when we all played Unreal Tournament together, and that's what he's doing with this thing... klooging it back together). Which means that my Jeep CJ-7 is named, "Dookie" (my UT screen name, since we're naming old Jeeps after such things).
She named the pool robot vacuum "Fred," out of habit (she used to name all of the houseplants 'Fred'). But when I made an automatic leveler (using some PVC and a toilet valve), she named it "Phil." I asked why, and she said, "Because that's what he does." Wow... I'm in the midst of genius.

This is brilliant - your wife has a gift for names - we are still trying to find the right name - I love Clifford the Dodge - our biggest an seems to be family cat (who is called Phiddy cent)
