maintenance

im new to mustangs mostly, lincoln is my preferred car, but i have a 04 that i believe is a mach 1, it has all the speakers inside but, i dont know what the previous owner had done with it or not, i know aftermarker speakers but no clue what else... and i'm not too good with engines at all, so i got not even the slightest clue whats under the hood lol... sad, but true....can somebody help an amateur out?

It is difficult to tell with the pictures you posted and my expertise is not with the later model cars but I thought all the Mach 1's in 2004 came with a shaker style scoop.  Maybe another member can chime in.

i dont have a clue, ive been looking up more info on the year i have and they dont look very similar to this one, which is what got me confused... and if its a stock engine wouldnt it have the mustang emblem on it? or is that just some of them? i'm just stuck >.<
any and all help would be appreciated! TIA

Not sure what you have but it is not a Mach 1 - sorry.

Of course having a Mach 1 is not a requirement to be part of our site (forum).  We are glad you are here and hope that you will stay!

Ford had several audio systems that they referred to as Mach audio systems and that may be what you are referring to.

As to what drive train you have - someone else with more late model experience can shed some more light.

thanks! didnt hurt my feelings, lol but at least i know that it was just the sound system installed - but, i'm still digging for more and more anyways :) although it wasnt my choice of car, i'm stuck with it.. so no harm in learning whaat i can about them while i'm behind the wheel Tongue

All I can add is the motor is clearly a V6.  Size, I don't know, 3.8L, 3.7L?
