1970 Mach 1

You can double check but I am fairly certain the 1969 and 1970 engine codes for 351 CID motors are the following:

H:  2-barrel 351W for both 1969 and 1970 Mustangs
M:  4-barrel 351W for 1969 Mustangs, and 4-barrel 351C for 1970 Mustangs.

Seems odd, in 1970 Ford installed a 351W when it was a 2-barrel motor and the 351C when it was a 4-barrel motor.  You'd think for 1970 the 2-barrel version would have also been a Cleveland motor.

Welcome!   My daughter (a little older than your kids) is the second owner of a '70 Mach 1 - which is why I am here.   Hers is a 351 C with FMX and 83/4 open in the same colours as yours.
As other members will attest I can give extensive 'advise' (nagging) on radio performance and fitting.   Hope I can help in the future.

A belated welcome!  I apologize I must have missed your introductory post.  I also live in CT.   I am usually scouring CL to see what out there as well. Every once in awhile you hit a home run like you did.
