Well here are "some" of the pics, as my Camera is having a spas attack, or something? it deleted several shots of the car, with the motor sitting on the mounts, and some others? So this is what I've got. The left mount took roughly 10 hrs fab time. The right side took about 4 hrs then I decided to add a 4th bolt to it (the shiny area)the smaller one. I had to cut it out, and drill the boss on the block, and then weld little pieces together to create a pocket flange for the bolt. Probably another 2 hours fab time, plus the 1 hr to replace the broken tip, in the Mig welder that I ended up drilling out, and re taping the hole to fit the new tip, before I could continue.... Fun Fun Fun! But they are done! Didn't even get to think about the trans mount. Now that they are done I have to drill the bosses (4), and then fit them on the real block ! All these pieces were cut out of 2 cross members, from a school bus. And had to be bent, and shaped into what you see. Never throw anything away. Cause you might find a use for it.

I wish I had your fabrication and welding skills! Glad you are still going ahead with it.

Thanks, I was never a "pretty" welder, but I can make 2 pieces of metal stick together. The key to fabrication is, just keep bending stuff till it fits........ Sort of. Now I need a C6 transmission case to use for mock up, and then fabricate / modify the Jag trans mount to fit the C6. At least I'm headed in the right direction. And to think, my wonderful wife of 36 years didn't think it would fit?????? Balderdash!

JTS...I can appreciate the hours and work that went into fabricating those pieces. If there is a large enough market out there consider a patent. Nice work!

Very impressive getting that motor to fit in there. Nice job, good creativity.

I'm sure there will be a couple people interested, in what I've done, The pieces are a little crude at this point, and if I had to produce them I'd clean them up a bunch. but I'm afraid, once people get an Idea what it took to accomplish it. They'll probably "chicken out" and put a chevy in it. My Ford "Lovin" Shelby Heart, just couldn't stand that! Thanks for the kind words. you never lose till you quit trying!

It is amazing how much work it takes to build things that never were!
But here you are proving it should have been done. :)

Quick question for JTS...when you get done fabricating and fitting everything, do you take it all back out and make it look pretty?

Oh yeah lots of cleanup, and dressup to be done. Once it's all fitted, and functional. I can make things look real good, but there's a difference in making it "pretty". I'll do a lot of things to make it nice, but remember. I'm truly building a Hot Rod, and not just a "Show Car"
