I have never had a desire to follow Shelby Mustangs so I've got to ask, is there much difference between a late model Shelby and a Mustang GT? Is it simply bolt on performance parts like back in the 1960's?

a late model Shelby will eat a GT. my 13 Shelby has 662 hp. it's so fast I can't keep rear tires from breaking or wearing out fast. My wife's 13 GT is about 425hp

I love the old cars it just gets tiring with upkeep and expense and the difficulty in finding quality parts. I've learned if I can't restore or fix completely myself it's not worth it anymore when Napa and all the parts stores give lifetime warranties because they are cheap parts.

Seems all the parts stores are offering that lifetime warranty, and they pretty much have resorted to that being what they offer up when you walk up to the counter, But they usually have premium, higher quality parts, over and above the "Lifetime Warranty Parts". These are the parts most people want, QUALITY wise, but probably don't want to pay for. I find it hard to believe the cost of the Lifetime warranty parts is low enough they can even afford to do that, offer free replacement ??? The markup must be ridiculous??? Just some thoughts???
PS, Look at Rock Auto and you'll see what I mean they show the lowest price parts and the highest priced ones, and you can compare and decide for yourself, There's only one catch. You have to pay for shipping on most stuff, I think you have to buy more then $100.00 or maybe $150.00??? to get free shipping?
