First I'll have to finish my Jacobra, and then teach it to swim! LOL. Cause I know "I" can't swim that far. Just out of curiosity what kind of money does it cost to ship a car, from Florida USA to Down Under??? The reason I said Florida, is I'm closer by about 2000 miles, then to California. I also lived in Florida for 3 years back in the early 90's. I know where most everything is, as I was a Terminal Manager/ Driver for Ken- Wood Trucking out of Cape Canaveral. Maybe I could swing it??? It would be great to meet all the guys in Australia. Here's hoping. JTS 71 Mach1

As a temporary import there would be no tax or duty but you have to export it again even if you crash it.
Cost I believe is around the $4-5k mark.
Tell you what - Get here I will lend you (both) a car, I have a few.
There is some food for thought! Could you live down being the guest of a BMW owner, though?

Well I kinda, sorta, got a Jaguar??? Not exactly a Mach1. But I still love them. If Momma wouldn't of had an issue with the Mach1 I'd still have it. But I always wanted one of them JAG'S, now I got one. Kinda Sorta, that is. JTS 71 Mach1.

The offer is much appreciated and taken with respect. I'll have to think about all things considered, Wife, family, time off, etc. I've been all across these United States, but never even considered going to another Country, let alone a complete other Continent! The thought is a little mind boggling. Will definitely consider the invitation and let you know. Thank You. JTS 71 Mach1

I'm open to the offer and you don't even need to offer a vehicle!

Yeah, Steven you're pretty good at pond jumping aren't you. I've never really been to adventuresome for leaving the country. But Australia is one place I have considered. JTS 71 Mach1

Turn up gentlemen. It would be a pleasure to have either of you as guests.
