I'll add my other son's 63 F-100 project to help balance the fact that I added a Toyota and spoke of those other brands.

Now that truck is Ford tough! I kind of like the look of the truck the way it is...what are your son's plans?

His plans are to pretty much leave it as is.

I still need to help him rebuild the bed to sit right. It is an automatic which he would like to change out for a standard. The pedal assembly is all ready in place - we just didn't have a standard transmission at the time.

It started life as a six cylinder, three speed on the tree, two wheel drive.

All in good fun. If you can't make fun of things or situations, and laugh out loud about them. You'd either be a prude, or just plain boring. Heck I'm the guy that sold my Mach1's and bought a Jag remember. I sure expected a few comments on that one. GXR was the only one with something funny to say. He hinted at the fact I'd end up at the sidewalk Cafe's "sippin tea and eating crumpets". I did assure him that would not, be the case. I'm steadily working on making the 460 run. Got to get some plug wires etc, before I can fire it. Also trying to get a Duraspark 2 Distributor so I only have to by 1 set of plug wires as the wires have different ends at the distributor between points and HEI. Just Havin So Much Fun! JTS 71 Mach1

Spring? Out here Autumn (Fall) has arrived with 20*C cooler temps.
Last run of the (Daimler Club) season (for me) this week end then it is engine out, clean, paint and generally love - then refit.
It should look alot better, not leak and make me grin - a lot!
