I saw that I needed to update my signature, no longer have the 2012 Shelby. Have a 2013 SVT 20th Anniversary 662 HP GT500 now Clap_

I also sold the 65.

I just bought a new Harley yesterday.

I'm restoring a 75 Vette its currently in paint.

Bought a 90 Jeep Wrangler & a new 14ft Trailer

Bought a kit car a Porsche 917 Laser, paid 750.00 sold it for 4500 in 3 days and did nothing to it.

Sold the wives Mercedes and bought her a 13 GT, she wanted a silver one like my Shelby, we are going to blue stripe hers though and she loves it.

Picking up tomorrow a 72 Mercedes and a 85 Dodge Conversion van that has been stored for 20 years, should be a joy getting these running.

I'm still on the hunt for a Mach 1 but Ive resolved myself that I cant afford one. So I'm waiting on the potential of a new Mach 1.

Id buy a good condition fastback 69-70 for 15-20k but they are not easy to find, and I really want to be closer to 15, so its not realistic.
As you can tell Ive become a car flipper accidentally, had to figure out how to supplement my income and cars seemed to be the only thing I knew. Biggrin

Thought Id share what Ive been up to, I'm definitely not out of cars just doing way more than I used to when I worked behind a desk in finance.
The car flipping is about to end after the van and the Mercedes. Ive got another job going back into finance starting in a few weeks.
Definitely not bragging guys, just sharing to catch up. Everything except my Shelby and my F150 and Harley are always for sale, in the meantime I'm enjoying having toys.

Thanks for the update.

That illusive Mach 1 will show up just when you least expect it!

The rest of the toy list will keep you busy in the meantime.

My wife would never allow me so much fun. You are a lucky guy! Nice upgrade on the Shelby, too.

Great Toy Box!!

I only work so I can have a full workshop. I guess you must be the same.

Ms M1FF has become an understanding car freak over time, I guess your Ms always was one.

Sounds like a great basis for a long and very happy relationship. Thumbup

Good to know because I would like to own a vette someday. Not in place of my Mach 1 but for the experience. Hopefully making such a sacrilegious admission will not ban me from these pages. Sad

I should make my way up to see Joe and have him give me a ride. Maybe that will be enough.

I have a friend, that back in 79' had a 76' Vette. It was mildly over stock. Nothing special it looked very much like the one Joe has. It was very low on the quality end, rode like a buckboard, didn't handle any better then my Mach1, and wasn't fast at all. My Mach1, stock with the 2 barrel whipped it severely several times. It was not impressive at all. I asked him why the Hell, he wanted a crappy plastic Chevy? Huh He said it's a Vette Man! I guess that was his Chevrolet Mentality showing. If It's A Chevy It's Got To Be FAST! Loser JTS 71 Mach1
