It looks like a nice car. Judging by the description it is a rebuilt salvage (i.e., totalled) car. Any thoughts?

Well the first thought that comes to my mind, is how badly was it wrecked? I think a Car Fax would give a pretty good idea, and would tell when, and where, you might even be able to get a police report? I guess what I'm saying is a lot of cars out there are totaled for different reasons. Crash, Flood Damage, Stolen and Stripped, etc. So a car brought back could be as good if not better then new. You need to be the detective and find out what happened before you write it off. JTS 71 Mach1

Fair enough price IF the car has been rebuilt right.
JTS has given some good advice. With a little sleuth work, and if you are not concerned about reselling then it could be an opportunity to buy right.
It's red - it's a manual - it's a Mach 1!

That is a big "if" and JTS is spot on. Do your homework.
