This is my dad's 52 MG TD. 30K original miles. Dad is 2nd owner. My great uncle was the dealer and this was his personal car. 1st MG imported into KY (we have the import papers to prove it). All original except the paint. Was stored in an aircraft hanger for 48 years. Dad got it 5 years ago after 40 years of trying.

Nice car and a great story, Here's a couple shote of a friends 51 MG he had restored, this was his first show. Took a lot more work then your dad's.

Wow great pics of a very nice MG, the only thing that looks strange is the wheel covers? are they original? not the typical MG style. JTS 71 Mach1

Good on your dad to stay after it for so long!
Back in the 1980's (in New Zealand) they made a nice full metal kit of the MG TF using the Triumph Herald as the donor that should I have stayed in country a little longer I would have not doubt put in my garage.

Yep they are but not very common.
