Hey Jcobb, Not to hurt yours or anyone's feelings BUT! in Arkansas. It doesn't cost anything to "title" a car antique. You simply purchase antique plates, about
$30.00, and they are permanent. Trailer plates are 19.00 and are permanent. It costs $19.00 to license a motorcycle, and about $29.00 to license the average car or truck. Last time I checked Vanity plates were I think $100.00. We do have a personal Property tax, I have 6 vehicles on it, including my 16 ft car trailer. That all runs about $130.00 / year. Of all the things I have to complain about Arkansas. They got the car licensing thing down right.

My son lives in Illionis and it cost around $200.00 a year, just to license each vehicle! OUCH! I was going to give him a car once, and he said don't bother I can't afford to license it. To transfer the title and license an out of state vehicle. He said it would cost around $500.00 Bucks! Just some food for thought. JTS

No hurt feelings at all. Its interesting to see what other people have to spend to keep a classic car.
Also something to think about before moving to another state. Not moving to Illinois any time soon.

Yeah I'm not moving to Illinois any time soon either. In fact I left there over 30 years ago for several reasons.

I love your restrictions - or lack of them.
The next show for me is York (east of Perth) 2nd July. I will take my TRAIMLER and then send it in for paint. I just hope the weather holds. Just without rain will be great for me.

I will photo any worthy vehicles as you all seem to enjoy them.
