This is probably more a question for the Australians on here, i would like to ask about the rules regarding the headlights inner and outer on a 69 (5 3/4") , do they need to be changed to adhere to Australian conditions and if so who has the best kit (one that actually fits and isnt some el cheapo brand) I also understand that i may need to rewire the assembly and include one of those nifty relay kits.
We have a few active Aussies here but no active 69 owner who would have faced the quad headlight issue. M1FF has a 70 and may be familiar with your requirements.
I am sure that you are familiar with the Australian Mustang sites (the good and the bad) but they may be more readily available to answer your specific question.

Share what you find out with us and I will remember the answer (till it changes) so that we can tell the next Australian 69 owner.
Hi Steven,
Thanks for your reply, after trying with a few of the local Mustang guys and having no luck i have found what i need in a local car parts spares store (Burson auto parts), i took in my buckets and samples of the original sealed beam inner and outer lights and they said yeah i know what you need and 10 minutes later for less than $60 AUD i have 4 new headlights that will fit straight into my old buckets with no mods required, ok theyre only the old sealed beam type but thats all i needed to have compliant for Australian conditions headlights.
The problem here in Oz is the original USA type headlights aim the wrong way on low beam ie to the centre of the road as we drive on the left.
Haha i hope that all makes some sense.
