Yesterday was the day....
I looked at the car and I have to say it was absolutely terrible.
A lot of parts like almost the whole front end, the complete muffler, interiour things were missing. A lot of rust ... mainly everywhere you have told me to look and beyond. On top of all the car must have had an accident. The guy couldn´t (or didn´t want to) tell me what happended, but it seemed like something hit it from behind on the left corner....
All together was just too much for a Basis to restore, so I decided to let this one go.
Now my search will continue and I hope something will cross my ways soon.

I am glad to hear you passed on it....this is why seeing cars in person is so important.

Sorry to hear that the car was no good.

Yes it really does suck... But I guess thats life...
As soon as I find a new canditate I will let you know.
I will be also looking in the states, since I am in Wisconsin on a regular Basis I always have the Chance to look at a car over there.

Thank goodness you were able to ignore the little "Go-on-buy-it. Its- not-that-bad" voice we all get. Better luck next time. At least you know where a parts car is!
