Dash lights - new product

I replaced my bulbs with the Mustang Project LED bulbs. It made a huge improvement. Now I found this on-line. It looks almost too bright.

So is it the bulbs replaced that make these so bright or is it all new gauges?

I'm not really sure how it works. The Mustang Project kit is just bulbs which makes things brighter but this Scott Drake thing looks more complex.

I contacted one of the people selling this product.
This is what they said.

It is just a cover for your gauges.

Doesnt sound like its worth it to me.
My actual email.
I was wondering if you could tell me more about this product. What is entailed in installing it. Does this replace factory gauges?
Sorry, all the websites that advertise this product don't say anything really about it, and the description leaves a lot to be desired.

With the Scott Drake kit be prepared to take you whole instrument cluster apart. I did find the Mustang Project bulbs fairy easy to replace for much less $$$ [attachment=783]
