My wife and I found more fantastic West Virgina 2 lane roads on Veteran's Day a couple of weeks back. This is the drive along the Cheat River from Albright to Rowlesburg, WV.

This whole area was devastated by a massive flood back in 1985, but has now recovered. The best drive of the day, however, was a road from Aurora, WV to Terra Alta, WV. Unfortunately, the GoPro ran out of battery during that drive, but the views were spectacular - being able to see 4 or 5 distinct mountain ranges off in the distance and the road was challenging, with dips, twists and wild turns out of nowhere. The farms along that road were really beautiful. For those interested, you can check it out on Google Earth by typing "directions from Aurora, WV to Terra Alta, WV" We took the Rt 53 leg, but there's also a Rt 82 that looks even better (from the map). We'll be trying that as soon as possible.
