Good morning to everyone. My name is Bob and I am the second proud owner of a 1973 Mach 1. This will be my fifth Mustang and one of the best ones I have owned. My wife Tami has a 2014 5.0 and we show them side by side showing 41 years difference. I hope you all like the pictures of my car.
Hi Bob...welcome aboard! The car looks real good. The nice thing about 2 owner cars is they are generally always well cared for. Your car reflects that very well with the panel alignment. Out of curiosity, how much of the car is all original? Very nice find!
Hi from another Newbie. Love the car - complete with 8-Track!
Had an 8-Track in my Eldorado. Even found a bloke with an 8T recorder but did not take the opportunity further. Can you still get cartridges?

Yes this is my wife's car next to mine. Also the mustang that looked like it was in my neighbors yard was actually my daughter's car. From what research I found the car is about 90% original. The first owner was in the Air Force and was over seas a lot. He did add a 4-barrel carburetor but the remainder of the engine is all original. This car spent most of it life in a garage. When he came back from his 4th tour he developed ALS and died a year later. This car sat in the estate for years as no family member wanted it. It took a while but now she is a welcome addition to my family. At this time my wife, daughter and I all have Blue Mustang. Of course, I think the 73 Mach 1 is the best. lol
I have a question for anyone. I am looking into getting the louvers for the back windows for my 1973 Mach I. Does anyone have a good resource for them? I am trying to find some that are the hard plastic rather than aluminum as I hear they rattle. I got a set for my wife's car from American Muscle but of course they do not have anything for a 73 Mach 1.
