Instrument Cluster Plug
#1
NewA little background before my question...

I have a 1969 Mustang Sportsroof (Mach 1 Tribute)
At some point in my pony's history the volt meter wiring had shorted out and melted the printed circuit board. So, a previous idiot...I mean owner Biggrin...decided to remove the wires for the volt meter from the cluster plug, and instead of cutting the wires so they could be spliced back into later, they removed the entire prong from the plug and trashed them evidently Angry

Does anyone offer an instrument cluster plug repair pigtail, or would I have to replace the entire underdash wiring harness to correct my wiring?

Thanks in advance!

Welcome.

I would reckon that someone who sells used Mustang parts should be able to help you out.

Someone like Don Witt at Ohio Mustang Supply.

Midlife Wiring may also be able to help out.

I would scour wreckers for this one. As the plug you need is in the dash it shouild not be heat or UV affected. You can then have a practice removing and refitting the connectors before you do the job that counts on your vehicle. The same plug(s) you need may also be used in other Fords in the same model/year range.
