Hi Everyone, I recently bought a red 1969 cobra jet and just found your website this morning. I look forward to learning from and sharing info with all of you.

Welcome Bob,
Judging by your site name the 69 is not your first venture into the world of car enthusiasm. Although I am sure that a 69 cobra jet will be a different ride than a 29 Ford.

Welcome to the site Bob; we're glad to have you aboard. The 69 Cobra jet is definitely a fine car. You must be really excited. Please share a few photos when you can.

I did not have time to post a few pics of my cars earlier, but here is what I have:
1929 Ford Model A Closed Cab Pickup in the orginal color
1965 Mustang Fastback (289 4v)
1969 Mustang Mach 1 428 CJ
And here are a few pics

Very nice collection!
Thanks for the pictures.
My wife (and I) have wanted a Model A pickup or a Model AA truck. Maybe someday down the road.

Yes...very nice collection. The 69 looks sweet and the 29 Model A is real cool! It is fair to say that Ford made some forward progress in the 40 years between those two vehicles.
My father in law left us a 1933 Model A coupe with a rumble seat. Once I finish my current project I will probably get that back on the road. Please share a picture of your 65 Fastback, I like those too.

And finally, the 1965 fastback. I had to find a picture that was small enough to let me post it.
I agree that Ford made some progress between the 1929 and the 1969. They also made a lot of progress between my 1965 and the 1969, although not all of it was positive in my opinion. Creature comforts (better seats and ride, etc.) and horsepower went way up, but the engine is much more complicated than the 289 in the 65.
Have a great Sunday!

The car looks great and it caught the attention of your neighbor too!. Thank you for sharing, very inspirational for me. I am currently looking for rims for my car and my wife likes the rims on your car. Are they the Shelby rims?

The rims are Cragar Gray Eliminator Series 500 Wheels. They came with the car when I bought it. I really whish they were the orginal rims or magnum 500's as I think they would look more correct. I also wish the front tires weren't quite as wide. It steers prertty hard. But, the money thing . . .
One more thing about the 69. It is a certified Marti Report 1 of 1 car. I was really excited to find it.
Thanks!
Bob
