I agree - working on cars is a good father and child activity. I have done several with my children. In fact my youngest daughter (12) and I were shopping on Craigslist tonight.

Welcome to the site. It's nice to get kids involved with restoration work. It's good family time, it teaches useful skills, and it hopefully pass along an interest in classic cars to future generations. Please share some pictures of the car.
