hello,
I am the owner of a 1972 Mach 1. My dad purchased the car for me as a project him and i will work on for two years for it to be my first car. We have only done minor fixes to the car and i would really appreciate some help in finding parts. I am looking for a trunk patch panel, fenders, and doors. Any help would be much appreciated.
thanks.

Keep an eye on your local craigslist. This one below is in Arizona.

Welcome Wes.
Glad to have you join the club.
As Joe has mentioned, keep an eye open locally (shipping is a killer).
There are some good contacts on the forum as well. Let us know where you are located and there might be someone nearby to help.
I have worked on a project Ford with four of my children - my fifth thinks she gets my Mach 1!

Hi Wes, welcome to the site!! Oh yes, the search for parts begin. If you are looking for original pieces, Craigslist is where I found most of mine. As Steve said, search locally because shipping does get expensive. For aftermarket pieces, there are plenty of part houses out there that carry body panels and everything else. If you let us know what State you are located in maybe we can keep our eyes peeled for you if something comes up.
