I do not own a Mach 1 as of yet, but have been looking to get one to restore. I figured this web page is a good place to hang out and learn more about the car. I have my eye on a '69 Mach 1 about 60 miles away. I hope to make the trip this weekend.

Welcome.
Evidently by your chosen name you are quite familiar with our blood sisters so all will be familiar.
Make the trip as soon as you can and make the purchase if the Mach is at all close to what you are looking for. They are becoming hard to find.

I had a 1967 cougar. She was a great car. 390 four barrel and c6. Regret selling her 10 years ago. I am going to look at a R code Mach 1 hopefully it will still be around. I will report back.

I certainly understand regret....had a 65 Mustang I let go and miss her dearly. I will keep my fingers crossed on R-code for you. Good luck again.
