After Ford's announcement of the 2015 Mustang, General Motors has decided to call it quits on the Camaro nameplate, citing the highly competitive nature of the market segment. Rumor has it there will be a successor, reviving a previous nameplate. With this move, they aim to recapture their dominance in the market of those buyer's who are nostalgic for the '90s, and should have just bought a Camaro anyway.
We'll see how this goes, there are not a lot of sources on this info, so we will see if it turns out to be true.

That's what you get with a government-owned company. I'm proud to say I drive a car made by a company that succeeded in the free marketplace without government corporate-welfare bailout money.

AHHHHHH! one can only hope it's true. As I said the last time Mother Chevrolet surrendered to the inevitable. BYE, SEE YA!!! Don't let the door hit you where the good Lord split ya! Or something like that. Oh well Ford wins again. I'm beginning to see a pattern here. JTS 71 Mach1
