Radio Delete and Antenna Installation

Hello,

I am restoring my 1973 Mach I back to factory specs and had a question about the radio delete option. If radio delete was selected, was an antenna installed anyway by the factory, or was the area marked for it filled and painted with no antenna installed? (Also curious about the center dash speaker; was it installed anyway?) My car was a radio delete car, and I have the original delete plate, but am replacing the fenders and wanted to see how to proceed regarding the antenna, as the car came with non-original fenders.

I believe that I have read/heard that with radio - no antenna hole. Now as to the dash speaker I don't recall reading or hearing that question or answer. Seems straight forward that if there was no radio there would be no speaker BUT ..

Let's see what the experts say.

I doubt if a center speaker was installed, but cannot be certain. My 73 convertible factory AM/FM Stereo has the speakers in the doors with no center speaker, but the dash pad area still had the center speaker "grill holes" there.

Not sure about the antenna.
