4 way relay? missing
#1
Hi,
I'm new to this but I have an issue. I am putting a 71 mach one back together and have the photos I took 2 years ago and can see there are two "relays" on the back of the dash where the glove box latch is. One has two separate wires going to it and one has a three post plug that has only two wires going to it. both are bolted on. The one with the two separate wires is still there but I don't know what happened to the other one. It had the 4 way flasher hanging over it so I assume it is a relay for it but don't know what it is or what its for and don't know what to look up. Could you PLEASE help me out here. I need to know what it is and if you know where I can get it. This is a full restoration that is in the home stretch and I'm stopped until I get the part.
Thanks

Welcome.

I cannot answer your question personally but there are several here who should know first hand what you need to know. They should jump in anytime.

Another good source especially if you will need the part is to contact Don Witt at Ohio Mustang Supply. It will be one stop shopping and learning with him.

I believe those are the buzzers. One is for the seat belt and the other is ignition key warning buzzer, or some had an optional buzzer if you left the headlights on.

I'll check to see if I have any pics that I took of my 73 convert.
