New 71 Mach Owner

Well to come clean first I haven't been a Ford or Mustang fan. However after some time searching for resto project I have become more of a fan. Currently I am restoring a 71 Light Pewter Metallic Mach 1.

My son and I have raced MX for 13+ years (3 Nat. Titles) and now he has went off to play Div 1 football. Although I enjoy working on the Mustang it just isn't the same without him around. I does keep me occupied for most of my spare time though.

Hope to get valuable information here and join in on some quality discussion.

Welcome to the site. I just started working on a 72 with my son for when he turns 16. The major part of the appeal to this is in the time we get to spend together on it. Your story seems to be a few years beyond mine, but I am sure it was enjoyable spending the time with him. Hopefully the build will give you and he lots to talk about while he is away and something for him to look forward to when he comes to visit.
