That ought to make a very respectable difference.
Do you have numbers that you are shooting for?

Sweet...it looks like you are doing it right as the pictures speak for themselves! I believe I read this Carroll Shelby quote online from another member here: "Horsepower sells cars but torque wins races"
Keep up the good work and let us know what numbers you are looking to produce. We are curious.

Thanks. I'm hoping for around 500 ft-lbs of torque but I'm not sure I'll have the $400 at the end of this for the dyno session. We'll see...

My question is what kind of compression are you shooting for? As it looks like it's gonna be low with those "swimming pool" pistons. Man those are big dishes???
Compression makes things go bang! More compression more bang! Unless you're thinking of BOOST??? Just an observation. JTS 71 Mach1

Around 9.5/1 compression. Cam is Howards 225/229. The aim is for dependability, non-racing gas, non-zinc oil and an idle that doesn't make it seem like I want to race everyone I pull up next to at a light.

Gotcha, More of a sneak attack then let the torque do all the work!

How goes the stroker motor? This is what I'd like to do to my car as well.

I'm absolutely loving it. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Here's a short video. The other videos on my channel are a bit longer.
