I don't know if this is a resto or not. I thought about bringing it back to the way she was in '03. The price of parts, nuts and bolts and trying to locate an original part without leaving my first born as an offer is quite a challenge.
I decided to just leave her as a Hot Rod. Make it road worthy and just have fun with her.
Like I said. She was stripped of most of the race goodies. All that was left on her was,
Sub frame Connectors
Wore out red rear lower control arms. No name brand on this, stock uppers, idk why?
Accel Coil kits
A K+N filter but no cold air kit
Numerous drill holes around the cockpit area where doubt gauges were at one time.
The shifter was my first project. The throw pattern on an Eaton 10 speed is smaller than this one. I read where finding 3rd and 5th could be fun. But this one. 5th gear was a pure mystery. Like any good hot rod guy. I wanted a Hurst shifter. I also wanted the chrome stick like I seen in '69. I ended up calling the Hurst factory to make this happen. They had to call me back to research all this to make sure the stick would work with the shifter and interior.
The only thing I had to do once it arrived here was to take it a part and turn the shifter stick around so that the grooves would lineup with the chrome stick.
I do have a pic but your site says it's to big to post.
