New Mach 1 Member

Good morning everyone,

Since I was 16. I have always wanted a Mach 1 since the day they first came out. But life,children and schools always kept the car as an after thought.

I've been browsing Craig's list for awhile looking for an old mustang to fix up to relive some of those yesteryear's as a boy. A Chevy dealer on Craig's list here in town had a '03 Mach 1 listed in as is quality.

There, the poor girl sat in the wholesale part of their yard. Took her out for a spin and the rest is history.

It's been a year now. She is still an on going project. She seen some track time from the holes I found from former nos hookups, to finding on the floor or missing interior plugs. She was stripped of her racing goodies and the standard parts haphazardly thrown on. But I will tell you, every time I fix something, she seems to get better and faster.

Trustworthy? I drove her from Austin, TX to Columbia, SC and back this past summer. What a ride!
