SSig_welcome4 Not a bad looking little Mustang. Was it a Cobra II or did someone dress it up. If it was a Cobra II, was it a V8. My dad had a 77 Cobra II black and gold, we did several mods. Early 302 4 barrell heads with shims under the valves, cam, headers, 289 streetmaster intake, 650 edelbrock, and hooker sidepipes. With a 4 speed stick, it was quite the stop light killer.         Yes, it was a real Cobra II, with the 302 V-8. I added an Edelbrock performer intake and Holley carb, and 15 inch wheels, but mostly stock.

Not exactly this car but it looked just like this one. 1966 289 4speed that I bought in high school and owned for ten years.

Sold this in the middle of an Iowa winter. Would not let the buyer test drive - because it was never in the snow. Finally had a clear day, he came by, drove it home. Still miss it during the summer. I really love my Mach though.

I'm sure the car eased the pain of the tax bill!
