I am a long lived mustang man i now own 4 mustangs my recent car is a 1973 Mach 1 and I am looking for some help refinishing the old bumper as it is a mess any help would sure be nice

What specific part of your front bumper is a mess and needs help? The cover of the metal frame?

If the cover is really messed up (deep gouges, rips, etc.) then you will probably need to look for a replacement.
If it is a matter of surface scratching then a finishing product such as "Icing" is recommended as it does not shrink like glazing putty.
I am not a full time auto body man and have not had to work on my bumper cover so I am just repeating what I have been told.
