Will the Mach 1 be Reborn ???

Ok I keep hearing things around the mustang community and its getting more and more frequent !!! Ford is planning on redoing the mustang design in 2014 which should be very common knowledge ..... however they are making the front end of the car longer (again) now the Mach 1 is know for its long front end and shaker .... now with them makign the nose longer on the new body style theyr doing has MACH 1 written all over it and many, many, many mustang enthusiasts believe that they may bring the Mach 1 back yet again .... now this is some speculation but some sources say that Ford is planning on doing another 2 year hitch similar to the 03/04 hitch they did in the past..... as i said this is NOT confirmed but all the signs are leading to a new Mach 1 design with a more sleek look but something that stands out from the other Mustangs you see on the road..... it is rumored to have the re-designed 5.0 motor and possible supercharger option when ordering or buying the car ... with a functional shaker still..... now as i said none of this is confirmed yet as far as i know.... but as i said all the signs point to a new Mach 1 ..... the estimated sticker price from what im hearing around will range from the $35,000 to $45,000 range depending on the options you get with the car..... i will say this much if they do bring it back it will be a "feeding frenzy" for all Mach 1 lovers world wide and Ford will make a substantial amount of money off of it which is why it is believed that they will bring it back..... now reason number 2 .... Chevy is bringing back the Z28 Camaro BUT it will be supercharged from the showroom floor.... now because chevy took so long to bring back that name car that died in the 03/04 era Ford is thinking of matching that with something even better !!!! THE MACH 1 !!! which in many eyes is a legend for Mustangs and is right up there with the shelbys and all them..... so this very well could happen in the near future !!! I am also hearing they want to bring back some if not all of the Original color codes and the 03/04 color codes for the new ones if it happens which means it will have a very WIDE range of colors to choose from !!!

Once again none of the above has been confirmed and some is speculation however there is STRONG talk about it so keep your hopes up !!! i know i will definitely buy one if they do !!!

Sounds like Fun, I just pray they give it enough Horsepower! to put the Z28 to rest for good! Not just 5 or 10hp I want there to be no doubt which one is superior! JTS 71 Mach1

Now out of the 6 Camaros i have had the Z28 was the most fun however i am sure of they do bring the mach back it will demolish it

Well, if they introduce a new Mach 1, that may go against thier "no retro" theme for the new design philosophy of the car. But if they do, I hope to see some 71-73 influence in there![/align]
