Ok i'm starting this thread just to see if anyone has the same feelings as me ....
I got into an altercation with another person and some things were said
...... when we had to sit down with out bosses it came down to his word against mine ..... now i get told we were both at fault even though he picked me up and threatened to beat the crap outa me .... now im at fault for not listening to what he told me to do because he outranks me.... even though i did do it .... and he is at fault for making physical contact with me which he is not allowed to do....
neither of our bosses seemed to care about the whole ordeal
.... and said that we were both at fault and that it was to be dropped... made us shake hands and that was the end of it........ so now my word against his no one wins .... i hate these situation when there are no witnesses and it just gets swept under the rug cause the boss doesn't care......
ever had a situation like this ????? or something similar to this ?????
Feel free to share .... some of them tend to be quite hilarious.....
for example ...... i remember being at a pep boys .... and i asked for an oil change and new brake pads.... well the guy at the counter put on there oil change and an all new brake assembly to include hubs, calipers, pads, the works ...... well they get done with the work and i get the bill... upwards of $1,500 .... i bout shat myself.... so i asked the guy at the counter.... which at this point was already gone for the day and was a different guy why was it so much let me see what i am paying so much for.... i notice on the screen that he put the whole brake assembly and all that on there.... i said that was not what i asked for i only asked for new brake pads.... this went on for well over an hour cause the work had already gotten done.... but i couldn't get my car until i paid them for the work.......so we went back and forth arguing for another 30 minutes till finally the guy that i originally talked to got there... they called him back in.... he told them i asked for the full brake assembly and pads .... i looked at him and said calmly ... no i asked for an oil change and new brake pads....
he then replies which car was yours... i told him the 03 mustang... he then walks behind the counter looks at some paperwork and then says.... yep it shows here you asked for the full thing.... i said that's because that's what you entered into the computer then printed out without showing me.... which they are supposed to show you before the work starts..... the manager asked me if i had seen the paperwork prior to the work being done and i tell her no.... so they give me 2 options .... pay for the work i requested and they keep the car overnight and put the old parts back on or pay the full bill for the new parts and work that had been done... so i told them i couldn't leave the car there and i wasn't paying the storage fee so i called my command on the ship and told them what was going on and that pep boys had technically broken the law by not showing me the paperwork prior to working on my car and wont give me my car back till i pay them for it and all that .... they talked to the manager for about 5 minutes .... after they got off the phone the manager rang up and oil change and said this is your new total .... so i ended up getting free brake assembly and all that because they guy messed up and they didn't want to admit to it ....
i thought it was hilarious at the time cause i got that for free and all....
so have you ever had an experience like this ???
