carb selection
#1
Hello all again :). I have had my fix in the garage finally after the deployment. I already have done a lot to the car. Now its time to upgrade my current carb. I currently have a 625 Carter currently on my car, but I am leaning towards a 650 holley. I am curious if the holley will work on my edelbrock 351 performer lb4v intake? Any advice would be great. Thanks! Pics for fun :)

Tell us all what engine you are running?....351 Cleveland we think...right.....( Q-code 4 bolt main engine)

Also let us all know what sort of performance you are looking for and what you plan on using the car for, Drag racing, street hot rodding around the block really fast or all around driving long distances ...etc etc
What rear gears do you have in it?

This info will help the experts here on the forum give you some really good sage advice based on many years of experiences they have.SCo_hmmthink
The car is a great base for a cool hot rod. It looks like its all original in very good condition. I like the color.

Wether it will fit or not depends on if the intake manifold is double drilled, as the Carter/ Edelbrock carbs have a different flange pattern then the Holley's do. Some manifolds are double drilled and some aren't. Also you need to determine if it is a Spreadbore or Squarebore manifold. As it will limit you choices, or you can always use an adapter. Give us a little more info and we'll point you in the right direction. JTS 71 Mach1
