Your build is why our hobby is great , something for everyone. I like them all , especially cars like yours. The talent to do this is Awsome .
like many , I want my car for me , not to please anyone else. So I changed a few things to please me .
Keep up the great work !

A sneak-peak it is! From what I can see I like. I can't wait to see them with tires. Out of curiosity, what wheel size and backspacing are they?

Very Cool ! Excellent way to create a bumper that will look the part. As if it was made with the car, instead of simply bolted on as an afterthought.
I can't believe the hours invested! You are dedicated!

There is no doubt you "get it"!! I very much appreciate your perspective as it is mine as well. I really appreciate your compliments on the direction my car is taking. If you only knew how much "hate mail" I have received from the Boss 302 "purists" and general jerks criticizing what I'm doing to _my_ car, it would make you rethink the hobby sometimes! Funny, not a single one of them is willing to part with the $$$$$$ it takes to make it "theirs". LOL!
Stay warm up there in Munising! Love that area of the U.P.!

Thanks! Tire choice is a really tricky decision when you fill up the wheel tubs to the last little bit. I thinkwe have narrowed the tire choice to two, but a lot more measuring need to happen before we make the final choice.
The wheels are 18 x 9 in front and 18 x 10 out back with backspacing of 4.750" front and 5.900" rear. The rear hub webs have been narrowed a bit to get the 1" lip reveal difference between the front and back wheels. That will become more obvious when we get the car on it's suspension for mock-up with tires.

Thanks JTS! It is definitely the "slow" way to create a bumper you want, but when there is nothing out there that is "just right" you really have no choice but to do it yourself or settle for something less. I ain't to the point of settling!!!!!
