Finally got the trunk lid straight as an arrow! A hearty shout-out to the folks at Evercoat and PPG for making awesome products for this type of work!
Also started to spice up the quarter extension / end cap gaps.

As always, your work looks awesome and inspiring. I am also using the PPG products but used the DP50LF and the K38 products. I will update my post.

Thanks Mike!
You certainly can't beat the DPLF series of epoxy primers from PPG. Absolutely top notch stuff there! I used K38 & K36 for quite a few years and was only recently put on to the JP205 (soon to be replaced by JP209) by the folks at PPG and am sooooo glad! This stuff is fantastic to work with and, for this type of work anyway, a good bit easier to work with. Cheaper too! If you get a chance, you might give it a look when the time comes.
All the best!

Details, details! Lots of hours spent in the shop working on the rear quarter end caps and valence getting everything gapped and smoothed just like we want it. Lots of work left, but it's really starting to look great!

Definitely for the trained eye.
Very well done.

Slow, slow, SLOW! Detail work at the rear of the car continues, but progress has been made! Heading into the Fall season and things are starting to shape up on the bodywork front. Soon, we will be fitting new doors and working the roof areas. My Winter work is planned!

Lot's of time in the shop lately taking care of a TON of little jobs leading up to paint in the trunk! I think we will be set for winter work in short order.
