Congratz on the purchase Brandon! I am in the same boat...bought a car and yet to have seen it. I have a little bit more of a wait, but that only makes the first time seeing it better for us :). Keep us up with your progress and put better pics of it up when you have it in your possesion!

Thats right armyfox, absence makes the heart grow fonder. I am going to see it for the first time on monday after having it for a month. My brother is already stripping it down to get ready for paint. Those pictures are with a camera phone. I plan on buying a brand new camera to take pictures and making a log of how much i spend on it. I will keep everyone posted as it makes progress.

bring my old thread back to life. the car is coming along and I ran into a wall. I can't find rear seat brackets and clips to attach the rear seat to the floor. the stock ones are in rough shape and looked for some and can't find any. tried on other forums, cj pony parts, mustang unlimited and tried googling it and found other guys who are having the same problem as me. does anyone have any for sale or know where I can find them? any help will be appreciated.

I checked ebay for the part and am not finding it. I also need to find the interior quarter panel trim bracket that welds to the floor. I bought an aftermarket floor pan and I am starting to think it should have came with these brackets but they didn't.

This is my first time to welcome you to the forum and congratulate you on your purchase. This is a great forum for sharing and learning and I hope we can help you with any questions you have. I don't mean this comment to detract from staying engaged here, but there may be a forum that may have other members with parts cars available. Vintage Mustang Forum, Boss 302 forum and others who may also be associated with your specific year of mustang can be great places to put out parts requests. I am sure either through the Mach 1 Club or one of the other ideas you can come across those parts needs. Again, our goal is to help you get your car back on the road to enjoyment.

I got a 1969 mach 1. but from what I understand (I could be wrong) for the seat brackets 65 to 70 fastback should work. as far as the other piece I don't know. its hard to know what the right piece is called because I don't have a book with all the parts so I could be saying the wrong thing. thanks for the help.
