Im still around!
#1
Just wanted everyone to know Im still around. Although I don't post here a lot I am here a few times everyday. Because I don't have a Mach 1 at the moment I'm sort of investing my time with my local Mustang club and that entailed starting another website AzPonys.com

I have a 2012 Shelby as most of you know. I also just recently picked up a 1991 Foxbody 5.0 LX. $1500 bucks with a great running motor and AC. Th_go_smilie_its_yo_birthday

So although I'm not currently the proud owner of a Mach 1 I am still very much a Mustang Guy!

This site was always intended to be for the members and owners of Mach 1's so as long as I'm alive this site will always be here.

I hate to say it but we we're all kinda wondering, if you had left for good? You know.... "Elvis has left the building" kinda thing???????? Naw!!! I saw you posting on several of the threads. Biggrin But it isn't quite the same without you. Just so you know, you added a lot to the site and conversation. Oh well we'll somehow trudge along without you! Cry JTS 71 Mach1 Looks like a clean 91. Plans????
Another thought just came to mind. You could take the 91 and add a Mach1 Shaker or Dual scoop hood and make it the "Mach1" that never was????? Some hockey stripes, louvers, magnum 500's. Are you gettin the vibe??? As long as it says Mach1 on it we don't care do we??? JTS 71 Mach1

So what are your plans for the Fox Body?

I've been a little busy this summer too, so I have not been posting as much. I've only made it to one car show this season. I try to post here every day or two at the least, but I don't plan on going anywhere either, I'm here to stay.

Understood.

I own a Mach 1 but it would hard press to prove as it tucked away in storage for free time that never seems to appear.

That is a very nice Fox body and wow, what a deal. I'm following along on AzPonys.com

Not 100% sure what I'm going to do with this car, bought it to flip it but actually like it and it runs so good I hate to get rid of it. Auto tranny could use a rebuild, but it only has an issue on downshifting, overall its still good enough, I've put about 300 miles on it.

Well I'm into it for about 2500 now, replaced original exhaust with new Flowmaster 40 series exhaust, replaced all original stuff with new shocks and struts and strut mounts, brakes, new headlight switch, fixed power mirrors, hatch struts and a bunch of odds and ends. Contemplating repainting it. The more I do the more I like it. Whats cool is it doesn't leak a drop of oil from anywhere. Going to replace the power steering pump this weekend the one on it now is very noisy. I'm hoping its just a crap rebuilt pump in there now and the Ford one will quiet it down, but these older pumps were always known to be loud.

Well I'm looking for quarter windows actually now. If I end up repainting this thing, the rubber around the windows are shot and are expensive to replace, there are some OEM ones on ebay the guy wants 1800 bucks for them! OUCH! Huh
