Auto shifter to fit console

Hello all'
I want to put an aftermarket(hurst, B&M, or ?) shifter for my C6 in my 71 mach with a full console. Anyone have experience with something that fits and works?

ALL OF THE AFTERMARKET B & M AND HURST AUTOMATIC SHIFTERS I HAVE SEEN HAVE A FAIRLY LARGE BASE WITH THE SHIFT INDICATOR IN IT. I DON'T THINK IT WOULD WORK WITH A CONSOLE. YOU MIGHT GET A HOLD OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE AT EITHER ONE OF THOSE VENDORS TO SEE IF THEY OFFER A CONSOLE SPECIFIC SHIFTER. GOOD LUCK!!

Yeah Black Jade is probably right if there is anything out there to make it fit, B&M would probably know. I can tell you I have a B&M shifter in the 73 Mach1 I bought, and I don't see any way it would fit with out modifying it. JTS 71 Mach1
