Thanks again for the input. I got the timing chain cover off and all the layers to get to it. Not as bad as I thought it was going to be but man my back hurts! hahaha

Been a while since I've done real engine work so this is kind of cool and a pain.

The Timing chain was definitely the culprit. Tomorrow... putting it all back together. I'm glad the chain didn't break, it just jumped one tine. So no smashing valves and pistons or anything... Lucked out.

The best thing you can use as a carb cleaner is WD40. Works just as well and is a lot cheaper.

Sounds like that last fuel may have had some water in it. Throw a can of gas dryer in it if all else fails. Dave R.
